BHP Series High Flow Filter

BHP Series high flow filters adopt a 6-inch large-diameter single-open end internal pressure structure. Supported by an ultra-large filtration area and fluid-mechanically optimized flow channel design, they form an efficient filtration system featuring high dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop, with multiple core advantages suitable for demanding industrial working conditions:

I. Advantages in Structure & Fluid Design

Internal pressure filtration (inside-to-out flow)

Liquid permeates from the interior to the exterior of the filter element, while solid contaminants are trapped inside the filter medium to prevent outward diffusion. The outer surface of the filter remains clean, greatly reducing the risk of secondary contamination during filter replacement. Meanwhile, it avoids filter cake shedding that pollutes downstream pipelines, ensuring stable filtrate quality.

6-inch large-diameter single-open end structure

Compared with conventional 4-inch high flow filters, the effective filtration area per filter cartridge is significantly increased. Under the same flow rate, fewer filter elements are required, and matched filter housings occupy less floor space, cutting equipment investment and on-site installation space. The single-open end cap fits standard high flow filter housings; installation and removal are simple and efficient, lowering maintenance labor hours.

Optimized flow channels for low differential pressure operation

Flow channels are optimized via simulation to achieve uniform fluid distribution and minimize turbulence and local resistance loss. A low operating differential pressure can be maintained even under high flow conditions, reducing pump load and energy consumption. In addition, the differential pressure rises moderately, extending the online service life of the filter.

Stable high-precision interception & excellent differential pressure resistance

Graded high-purity polypropylene fiber filter media is adopted, paired with an integrated reinforced support skeleton to prevent filter medium collapse under pressure. The filter can withstand higher operating differential pressure. Filtration accuracy remains consistent amid fluctuations in feed water quality and sudden flow changes, preventing contaminant breakthrough.

III. Advantages in Material & Manufacturing Technology

Integrally thermally fused all-polypropylene (PP) construction, no adhesives

Filter media, support skeleton and end caps are all made of high-purity PP and integrated by thermal fusion welding. No adhesives, resins or other bonding agents are used. There is minimal extractables without chemical binder leaching, eliminating contamination of process fluids.

Excellent chemical compatibility

Polypropylene resists acids, alkalis, salt solutions and most organic solvents. It suits a wide range of complex fluids such as purified water, chemical raw materials, coatings, electroplating solutions and water treatment chemicals, covering extensive working conditions.
