Lokhu kusho ukuthi kungasebenziswe ngokuzwana nezinyathelo zokusebenza ezincane, ngokuthi isenzi ukuthi izindlela zokusetha kwezinyathelo zokusebenza ziyafuphi kakhulu futhi ukuthi ukusetshenziswa kwamandla kwezinyathelo zokusebenza kufuphi kakhulu ngemva kwalokho. Kuyisisekelo esihle kakhulu kumsebenzi oqukethe “ukulinganisa ubunzima” noma lapho ukuthi ubunzima obuphezulu akubikho.

Ukusebenza kwe-pressure engaphansi kakhulu, ngokugcwele ku-100 PSI – Ngokuphakanyiswa kwezinhlelo zokusebenza zemembreni ephansi kokuchwephesha (okukhona kuzoba yizinhlelo ezinamandla angu-150–200 PSI), i-XLP isula umkhawulo wokusebenza okuphezulu ku-100 PSI (ngokuphakanyiswa ku-0.69 MPa), ngokuphakanyisa ukunciphisa ukubaluleka kwamapampu amandla angaphezulu. Lokhu kusinika ukuthi i-XLP ikhuluma ngokuzenzela ngezinhlelo zokusebenza zempampu ezingaphansi kokuchwephesha, ngokuphakanyisa ukunciphisa ukuthenga kwesiqalekile sokusebenza nokuthenga kwesikhathi eside wezindawo zokusebenza. Ukuphatha amanzi angaphezulu nangokugcina phansi kwe-pressure – Ngemizimbi yokuqala ephansi kwe-pressure, iyaphatha amanzi angaphezulu kakhulu ngamalitha angu-53 000 ngosuku (GPD), isikhuba sesikhathi sokusebenza kwezindustria futhi isibophelela kakhulu ukuphatha amanzi ngokuphelele.
Ukunciphisa izindlela zokusebenzisa imali nokunciphisa ukusebenzisa amandla – Ukugcina phansi kwe-pressure yokuqala, ukunciphisa amandla okuphatha, ukunciphisa ukuphatha kwamanzi okuhlanza, nokunzima kokubuyisela i-membrane kusobala ukunciphisa kakhulu izindlela zokusebenzisa imali nokusebenzisa amandla.
